Hello there,
I'm planning on building a clean boost pedal in a couple of days and was just wondering if one of you wonderful people could double check my wiring. I've done a drawing on pixlr, hopefully you can actually see what wires are going where as it does look a bit confusing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wiring looks ok. Be careful with the track cuts under C1,4 and 5
Being completely pedantic that schematic drawing of the power jack, I would class the two things with loops as the postive connections, so flip where you 9v and GND are going there...

I dont use that footswitch wiring scheme but it seems fine, and is input grounding, so its all good.
As long as you are sure what the in out 9v and GND are on the "PCB/vero" then you are good to go.

With regards the Current limiting resistor for the LED, try 1k for "diffuse" (read: coloured) LEDs
For super bright water clear (ie blue / white / red / green but the LED is clear) go with 4.7k or up, unless you like to be blinded in which case 2.2k probably fine.

That's excellent help, thanks so much. The Madbean wiring site looks good too, very useful indeed. On the Madbean diagram it has a stereo input jack with the ring connection going to the battery snap, just so i'm sure, if i wanted to make a pedal without a battery snap (as i usually do) i could just use a normal mono input jack with the connections going to the DC jack and 3pdt footswitch as normal?

Correct. If you dont need a battery snap, ignore the "ring" terminal on the input jack, and as such just use the tip (hot, input) and sleeve (GND) on a mono jack.

Also, if you're not using a battery connection it's worth noting that the "loop" lug on the power jack furthest from the ground lug ("no loop") is the one you want to connect to the +9v LED and circuitboard power connections: The loop that is nearer to the ground lug disconnects from the other "loop lug" when a DC plug is inserted into the jack and is intended for connection to battery positive so you can't connect both battery and DC adaptor +9v at the same time.

In the middle of building this now and have stalled due to not knowing which way to orientate C5. I'm just confused by the fact that neither side seems to obviously go to ground (not to my eyes anyway) So if someone could let me know that would be fantastic. Thanks a lot

Replied in the other thread, but the left side of c5 is ground.
