If you can import your own .wav files into their software, you could just use this as a sampler, right? I don't really see how this is that far removed from the digitech jamman, but maybe I'm missing something.

His guitar tone was so horrendous in that video. I know the drum tones were the point, but yuck. Also I can't imagine those drums sounding that good through a guitar amp, you would still need a PA type speaker to get something useable.

Is there actually any point in playing THROUGH it? If it literally adds a drum track, why not have it as a foot-controlled drum machine you can stick through a different amp/PA rather than the same one your guitar signal is going to.

i think its more for solo loopers than band situations. less amps for one person rules. it is pretty cool you can run this through your effects board and such if u put it first and than loop it. id totally buy it if i didnt beat box on my loops or just use my mpc. i can see applicable situations tho, i kinda almost want it.

The tone in the video was horrible on his guitar, but that wasn't really the point. This thing looks interesting. Gonna have to try and get my hands on it.
