Hi hi.

Would you say that this is the lightest weight Bigsby option I have for my Les Paul double-cutaway?

THANKS

It is, but the B5 is designed for flat top guitars. Not to say it wouldn't work, but the B3 or B7 would probably work better.

And exactly how is "flat top" defined? I always get those confused... like "arch top" and all that.

My LP DC is the "Faded" version, and the body is totally flat on top. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Yeah, it would probably look exactly like that. I'll have to have a look at the B3 and B7.

If it's totally flat like that the B5 will be just fine, I was thinking of the other DCs I've seen which still have the carve of a normal LP.

Yeah, that's what I like about those minimalist LP DC Fadeds. No frills, sounds killer.

And the body is as flat as my 6th grade girlfriend. Was.

I like the flat top of that faded more than a carved top as well. Good platform axe to customize however you please.
