Gibson has the Min-ETune and Peavey has that weird guitar that will tune to any where on the neck or open or whatever...

Scares me...

Pretty much this.
When I saw Andy post about Tronical, I was quite confused, but then figured, "Why not?"

the more doo-hickeys you add to a guitar the more they can fuck up. i look at my guitars as lifelong pieces usually and when there is technology involved im hesitant to pull the trigger.

While that is true, guitars will still function like guitars when said doo-hickeys stop working. Its not like a car, when if something electronic stops working, you can't really use that feature anymore. Which is why I'm hesitant with electronic seat adjusters.
