Practice Amp Needed

Anyone have a suggestion for a semi cheap practice amp? All my amps are at least a hundred watts and stacks etc and I kind of want something small that I can just flip a switch and noodle around.

I had a Line 6 Flextone 3 way back in the day and that thing sucked. I haven't touched a Line 6 thing since then, maybe they got better? Or the little ROland Cube amps or whatever. If anyone has suggestions to try out lemme know, I don't have much time to spend at music stores during December (I work at UPS).

Browsin around on ZZounds and I saw Orange is making a 35 watt little guy too for only 250 dollars.

The Ampeg GVT series amps are on super sale at MF.
I picked up the GVT15H and I'm digging it thus far.

My favorite cheap tube practice amp has always been the Silverface Fender Champ. Fantastic sounding and ridiculously easy to find.

Vox Pathfinder 15R & Ampeg GVT15 combo.. both could be used as home noodling and small club gig! I love both of them

+1 fender silverface champ. you shouldn't need 35 tubed watts to practice. also the fender pro jr is amazing sounding, just a volume and tone control.

I don't want to do any mods. Just something simple. I'll check out the new ampegs. I have a vt-22 so it will match some of its bigger fellows :-D

I hear good things about the pathfinders.
Try old peavey combos too. The 158 rage, I think is the right model, is pretty neat. They made two different versions though...one with IC's and one with Jfets.
I have the ampeg gvt15h...it doesn't work right or I'm an idiot. Making new thread now.
Those little amps that come in starter packs are actually pretty decent if you pair them with a real cab. I use an Ibanez 10B that I rebuilt the shell of all the time. Great for when I just want to play for a minute and don't need to warm the tubes.
