Pedalboard idea

I'm working on my board again... need some idea.

You have to choose 10 pedals from those (you can add one that's not on the list if you want) and create a board.
Tell which 10 pedals and what is the chain.

-FuzzHugger(fx), AB-Synth 5k
-Fairfield Circuitry, Four Eyes
-Fairfield Circuitry, Unpleasant Surprise
-Fairfield Circuitry, Randy’s Revenge
-Mid-Fi, Demo Tape Fuzz
-Liquid Gain, Hydra
-Dr. Scientist, The Elements
-Dr. Scientist, Cosmichorus V3
-SubDecay, Proteus
-Empress, Superdelay
-Moog, MF-104M
-FoxRox, Octron
-Mountainking, Ruckus II
-Source Audio, Dual Expression Pedal

In this order:

-Foxrox Octron
-SubDecay, Proteus
-FuzzHugger(fx), AB-Synth 5k
-Fairfield Circuitry, Randy’s Revenge
-Mid-Fi, Demo Tape Fuzz
-Empress, Superdelay
-Moog, MF-104M
-Dr. Scientist, Cosmichorus V3
-Dr. Scientist, The Elements
-Source Audio, Dual Expression Pedal (controlling both Dr. Sci.)

Not familiar with most of those, but something i've always liked at the beginning of the chain is put an envelope filter with an f/x loop. put a filter sample/hold in the f/x loop :joy: You can set the trigger however you want or with whatever other pedal you want, and its nice to have an expression pedal to control the delay so you can shut the envelope when ever or gradually etc. Then a delay afterwards just kills it. Putting an octave fuzz in front of the filter s/h just makes it that much more incredible, as you can always just click off the sample filter/hold and have a fuzz riding the envelope :)

don't know the other pedals, but that is a cool starting point if you play clean tones during atmospheric moments.

edit: i use a 104z and there is always some sort of modulation or fuzz/modulation in the fx loop on tap. i was gonna say hook up an lfo to modulate the delays but the M already does that :thumb:

I would go Octron -> Four Eyes -> Superdelay -> Demo Tape -> Proteus -> Randy -> Elements -> Cosmichorus -> MF-104M, and Expression control over any of four eyes, randy and moog delay.

At the moment:

Octron > US > Proteus > RR > Ruckus II > DTF > Hydra

Fx Loop of the amp:
MF-104M > CC v3 > SD

I would love to get the Pi-Phaser some times later.
And I'd like to include 4E somewhere.

I prefer to keep it small (around 10 pedals) to focus on my playing.

how would the proteus sound after the dtf?

-Fairfield Circuitry, Four Eyes
-SubDecay, Proteus
-Fairfield Circuitry, Randy’s Revenge
-Dr. Scientist, The Elements
-Fairfield Circuitry, Unpleasant Surprise
-Subdecay Quantum Starlight (Simple, works well with dirt, nice complement to the Cosmi)
-Dr. Scientist, Cosmichorus V3
-Empress, Superdelay
-Mid-Fi, Demo Tape Fuzz (set to low gain)
-Source Audio, Dual Expression Pedal controlling Randy and the rate of the Cosmi

To be fair I set up all my boards in this order...
Funky fuzz>filter and werid stuff>Elements>funky fuzz>flange>chorus>delay stuff>light dirt
:picard: I'm boring.
