So what are some cheaper fuzzes youve liked? Behringer vd1 sounds like a thicker gainier Big Muff to me and their FZ2 clone is suprisingly good. The uz400, what its a clone of i dont know, is pretty decent too.

cheap is subjective....i'm assuming you mean cheap $$ not cheaply assembled etc.
what kinda price range we talkin bout?

i've owned and cherished some ibanez soundtanks from the early 90s. were my first pedals and i swear they were tonez from on high. not sure another pedal has ever made me feel that same way ever since.
edit: had to look it up, i think it was called a 60's fuzz.

Let say.....under 50 bucks new for a price limit. That's pretty cheap.
I got a Noisemaker Donner Party for $40ish new......stupendous pedal!

I love the big box american big muff. Although not a fuzz, I have still yet to try a rat!

I got an Ibanez FZ-7 a few years ago when they were selling for like $10. Kind of like Super Fuzz. Suffers from problems typical of the 7 series; e.g. bad switches, noise interference but has a cool sound. You can get them for $30 these days apparently.
Dunlop JH-2s Classic Fuzz from the Hendrix Systems series. A decent buffered germanium fuzz face I got for like $20. On Ebay a bunch of people are trying to sell them for over $100 which I don't think is worth it, there's plenty out there that's just as good. But if you can get a good deal on one and need a basic FF go for it.
I like cheap good fuzz pedals

If I rightly recall that is the same circuit as the Ibanez OD-850, in other words the best Big Muff variant I have ever played.

The Dano French Toast is a $25 fOXX Tone Machine clone, it was my second ever fuzz pedal, after a big box Big Muff. I still have the French Toast, 15 years later, and it still works fine
The DOD Classic Fuzz and Flashback Fuzz are both pretty damn good, too, and you can almost always get them for under 50 on eBay or elsewhere.
My favorite Rat is the Turbo, which I bought used for around 50. I think they're 100 new.

Noisemaker Crush Fuzz was good at OD/fuzz double duty.

Bi-Yang Fuzz Star... I've found that the older the cheaper pedal the better I like it, new stuff is just cheap cheap...

If you take the time to learn to build them, pretty much all fuzzes are cheap.
