Hello, first time poster here.

There is a guy selling a Big Muff in my area, he bought it in December 1978.

From the date and the looks of the thing I gather it must be a version 3 or 4. But which?
I've been comparing pictures of it with the pictures over on http://www.kitrae.net and to me it looks like a v. 4 op amp but I really don't know what I'm looking for.

Can any one help?

You can see the ICs soldered to the board so it must be a V4 OP-AMP.

I'm pretty sure it's the op amp version. I have the exact same one and I believe I've been told its the v4. It's fucking awesome, my favorite muff/fuzz I've ever used.
