are blue guitars ugly?

Every time I see a guitar finished in a blue (not like Pelham blue or Daphne blue but blue-blue) I'm all
I have no idea why. Maybe it's just me. Do you like blue guitars?

There's a certain range of blue that I can only associate with ugly 90's motorcycles. Everything becomes as fugly as one of those bikes.
Same with XTREME GREEN.

only guitar ever alright in blue. well let me amend that, 60's/70's fender competition mustangs looks sweet in blue too.

I like the blue on my pawn shop mustang, loved my RI mustang blue as well. I dunno.

I think with any colour I could find some hideous guitars and some gorgeous ones. A trans-blue PRS with some fancy ass figured wood?

I like LPB, Sonic, Daphne, 4003's in blue. So alot like most of the posts.

I like both blue and green as long as they're the correct shade. I have a TV Pelham LP Custom, transparent and shows all the mohagany grain, yellowed a bit to a green-ish hue. I love it, a big reason is it looks drastically different than most LPs. Have a Sonic Blue Bass VI that rules too. Lake Placid is cool too.
And any shade of Olive Green makes me drool. Oh, and the trans satin green on the Thurston Moore Jazzy.

+1 on the olive green, too. I have a project in mind and want the color to be not straight olive green, but not venturing into "baby shit green" territory either...

I'm SUPER weird about blue and green in general. I think the only blues I can really stand are navy-ish blue-greys, that seafoamy type blue Jazzmaster, and then like moss green. Any other type of green just makes me feel weird

this is my ranaldo sig jazzy. i think it and the thurston might be my favorite fender finish. looks gooooood.
