Just got myself Boss SYB-5,it's a bass pedal but I saw a lot of guitarist use it. What I notice from first is that is dynamic pedal, sensitive on your attack.
It's not classic filter...it's good for some riffs & strange sounds.
For now I like mode 10 & it's great with delay.Expression pedal is very helpful.
What is your favorite setting's & how do you use it ??
I want to find usable sounds for guitar using this pedal...so help me out.

I don't have that particular Boss synth pedal, but I've used their other units for years dating back to the Stone Age.

What I can tell you is that it'll reward techniques specific to the pedal/guitar combo - intentional mistracking and being able to replicate it is half the fun in that type of box with guitar.

It will respond to deliberate, well-nuanced technique in the most "normal" manner, but there's no fun in that.

Feed some ugly high-gain dirt into it and see if it squeaks.

BOSS SYB5 is fantastic with guitar...I love mode 6 it's my fav.
