Looks fun, but everything I've heard says that those things have had some major QC issues after assembly.

Looks pretty cool! This looks like maybe competition for my electric mando GAS to let me pretend to be Warren Ellis.

H loves his Loog. His acoustic 6 string is on the way out (keeps blowing through strings and the tuners fell out) so he's been playing with this more. And by playing I mean beating the crap out of it, sliding it around, and actually plucking the strings once in a while.

Took about 10 minutes to put together, 5 to string up. The lucite is heavy as fuck. Like that little tiny guitar probably weighs 7 pounds. Everything but the tuners into the neck and the neck onto the body is already done for you.

The neck is narrow, think half a normal guitar fretboard. The neck is as chunky as a regular guitar though, which is oddly comfortable. Kind of feels like playing a smooth broom.

Pickup is sparkly in that Dano style. On the lucite Loog the pickguard and knob are real wood like the Dan Armstrong guitars and basses

I think it was pretty well worth the money, it's held up this long with a drooly toddler

I forgot to mention that they give you a full set of 6 strings with it as well, so you can use any string gauge combo. I have DGB strings on H's
