What are your favorite Tremolo Pedals guys? I'm on the hunt, but the only one even on my radar yet is the EQ hummingbird, and Now the Minifooger one. My favorite tremolo thus far is that of a 72 silverface princeton reverb, Ideally someone has put this in a stompbox already, and I just don't know about it.

Any info is appreciated!

Dr. Scientist Tremolessence. Hands down best trem.

The Strymon Flint is pretty decent but I wouldn't buy it over the Tremolessence unless you want the reverb as well.

I wanna try a Fuzzhugger Tremulust and Diamond Trem too, those look neat.

If you gotta have tap tempo, CUSACK TAPAWHIRL gets my vote. If not, you better get yourself a TREMOLESSENCE.

Or...if you got the space, the Moog Ring Mod has a WIDE speed range and with the LFO you can do crazy cool dual warping trem awesomes! You can probably get a tap tempo expression or CV jigger (copilot) and use it for tap tempinzs (and multipliers and waveforms!)

Or put just a dirt pedal or volume pedal or juat about anything in one of these, an OHNOHO UTTER STUTTER

Depends what you're after. There are some mighty fancy tremolo pedals out there these days. But if you want a more simple, classic "amp-like" reverb tone, maybe go for a clone of the Schaller (demoed above) or a Demeter Tremulator (designed to sound like the trem in a Blackface, I think). I got a great Schaller clone from Jimmy Behan FX that gets a lot of use. I think Nigel at North Effects also makes one.

If I didn't REALLY like my BYOC Trem, I'd buy the new Minifooger.

Yeah, thaat BYOC's a good'un. A bunch of trems on the market are either Schaller or EA based circuits, so you can't really go wrong. My pet peeve is misbiased trems that either have too long in the vol-up or the vol-down part of the waveform. Yuck.

If you just need something cheap and simple, Godlyke is blowing out these Guyatone Mini tremolos for $50: http://www.godlyke.com/b-stock-guitar-e ... olo-vt-3-1

Reviews are mixed, but I've owned a half dozen other pedals in that series and had no complaints.

I just bought a Stutterbox - it rules. Switchable between two speeds, tone, gain and rate knobs, and different wave options....

It took me a long time to finally decide on a tremolo pedal. I ended up getting the Black Cat Mini Trem and I really love it. I always wanted the Fulltone SupaTrem because it is suppose to be really organic sounding. I ended up with the Black Cat because it had a tone knob which I thought was awesome and I really loved the boost section because it adds awesome character to the sound without colouring it.

If you are looking for something that is more like an amp reverb, I definitely wouldn't recommend the hummingbird. It is known to be a very harsh and drastic tremolo, which isn't a bad thing, but it just doesn't have that warm amp like quality. SupaTrem seems to be a favourite among people though.

I enjoyed the MusicPCB Tap Tempo tremolo. TONS of sounds to be had by it, lots of different wave forms. The SolidGoldFX Stutterbox is similar to it!
