Wretched excess, or New Cab Day

I did not need another amp for the house. I'm already rocking a Deluxe and a Jazz Chorus for 100% home, 100% couch jam purposes.
But I ended up with a Fender Mustang V head when they came out because it was the same price as the then-released Mustang Floor (and I thought to self, "self, you could use a backup amp or something someday").
But nature abhors a vacuum, and well, since Fender felt the need to cosmetically revamp the Mustangs recently in a minor, minor way, the cab was as cheap as a 2x12 stereo option.
Speakers need a breakin but it sounds like, well, the amp did direct, which is fine with me.
Not sure I'd want to lug this thing around if I was younger, but dammit, sometimes you gotta get out your inner gear child.
