Am I the only person IN THE WORLD that thinks this is BS? Someone makes an "official" Failure facebook page and posts "ITS on PEOPLE" and that automatically equals a Failure reunion?

I'd love to see Failure live, as I have loved them since the moment I first heard them in 1996. They are my favourite band ever just behind the Beatles and Nirvana. But this just smacks of hoax.

I really, really hope it's for real. I just discovered them this year and I fell in love with their sound. Comfort, in particular, has been inspiring me to play more guitar.

Ken Andrews confirmed it, looks to be legit.

holy shit i hope this is a good move and not a massive, massive mistake... their last album is flat out my favorite ever. and it was out in 1996. 17 years ago. ugh...

For the record, though, I'd love to see them live. A new album would be cool, but I think the time/era of Failure is passed... 1995 was a very specific year (the year FP was recorded), and those guys were specific people doing a specific thing. So perhaps a few new tunes here and there, but even though it would be the same guys... you know the story... probably wouldn't sound the same. It would be a shame if it only sounded "like Failure". You know... mannered.
