Delay pedal question- looking for some suggestions/feedback

Hey all:
I'm looking into getting a delay pedal that has the following features. I've seen quite a few that have some of these features but not all. Any suggestions would be helpful, although i'd prefer to stay away from the more pricey pedals.
Here's what i'm looking for:
-Multiple delay types (analog, tape, digital, etc.)
-Dedicated Tap Tempo switch
-Port for external Expression/tap
-Can tap tempo in while pedal is disengaged
-Saving Presets
-Can self-oscillate
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Doesn't the Empress VMSD do all that? The only one I'm not 100% sure of is the the tap tempo while it's disengaged, but I'm pretty sure it can.

I read that it does not allow tap tempo setting while disengaged. Is that correct, or is this feature present?

No, that is correct. No tap tempo unless the pedal is engaged. Probably my only gripe with that pedal.

Yeah the VMSD does that and you can find them for $300 on the gc used. That's where I got mine a few months ago.

Line 6 m5 if cost is a big factor. There was a timefactor around these parts on CL for 250 so yeah that's not too bad cost wise.

OK thanks!
The Delaylab doesn't do tap tempo when disengaged, as mentioned above (although I do think it sounds really good). I don't think the DL4 does either, although I'm not sure. The Eventide, Empress, and Strymon definitely do?

Thanks all for your replies! I've heard that the TimeBender is really feature laden but is lacking in the tone department. Anyone have any experience with it vs the DD-20, Flashback x4, etc? ANy other suggestions? I guess my main wants would be presets, multiple delay types, tap + tap when disengaged, and trails (forgot to mention that one). Does the M5 do trails?
