Hardware store? (Ace, Lowes, Home Depot, maybe even a mom and pops auto parts store that has small parts bins, Tractor Supply, maybe a box with various springs from Northern Handyman or Harbor Freight) They're just small compression springs and don't really serve much purpose. The bridge will work without them, just might make it slightly more difficult to intonate. I've used springs from ball point pens to replace missing ones on guitars before.

Like in Lowes or Home Depot they have a section that's usually labeled "Hardware" and they have rows of little trays/drawers with bolts and nuts and screws and various spacers and whatnot. Ace used to have an entire aisle for such stuff, it really was a MacGuyver wonderland. Tractor Supply has an aisle of bins with various stuff kind of like Home Depot or Lowes, but I think they have a better/larger selection.

i'll give that a shot, thanks - i'm used to buying nuts (TWSS) & bolts & such at my lowes, have never noticed springs in there...
thanks, regardless.

well, no springs at lowes, but the pen springs actually do fit & work alright!

also why the hell did i start this here instead of the guitar tech section?

regardless, thanks for the help!
