where to get infinite reverb?

imma hopin' some a' ya'll might have some experience in this here type a' thang. i used to have a digitech rp-20, and the most memorable thing about it, in my little mind, was the reverb, you could set it for infinite, and the notes would just keep drifting, loved it, anyway, i beat that poor little thing apart a long time ago, but still miss that infinite reverb, any of you fine folk have any suggestions where i might find something similar? i'd prefer a pedal, but am open to hearing any experiences you might have.

Tech21 Boost RVB.

100% dry to 100% wet, plus a master volume/boost.
Excellent pedal!

That pedal has been on my radar for too long :)

I got dr.scientist RRR , but I still need one more reverb pedal to complete my 'no echo/delay' pedalboard.

Seems like a great pedal , I wasn't aware that it can do the endless reverb thing,though... :thumb:

The Digitech PDS 3000 could do the infinite kind of thing.

It had a momentary switch that just kept feeding the reverb back on itself.

Kind of hard to find, but could be pretty sweet if you can pick one up.

I've always liked the Dr. Scientist Reverberator.

If you can find a Digitech XP-400 reverberator. setting 28 is called Infinite Plate. It's incredible, turns your guitar/bass/synth into choirs of strings and walls of reverb. It's all over my band Bongripper's Hippie Killer album for samples.

But yeah that is the best extreme reverb sound I've ever found in a pedal. Most realistic reverb from a pedal was Trex Room-mate. Coolest all around/extreme reverb is the new tank I just had installed my my carvin VTR-2800 it decays forever when you crank it. So much so that I might not even need delay pedals....but i'm still gonna use them.

electro harmonix makes total shit products and so does digitech tho i give proprs to digitech for buying out the grunge pedal for dod.......but why im replying is is that im in the same boat........on my digi rp7 im looking for the same infinite reverb effect as well..............but i think harmonix sucks dick....i must say this Tech21 Boost RVB sounds heavenly but can it do the effect we are talking about like the holy grail???? :?: if anyone can tell me itd be :excellent:

i'd love to get a RRR if i could justify the expense, maybe in a year or so, the holy grail variants have something about their sound that just rubs me the wrong way, the pds 3000 could be cool, if i could find one, the xp-400 looks worth checking out, thanks for the recommendation. i'll have to check out the Tech21 Boost RVB next time i'm in the city.

i've heard that the alesis nanoverb has an infinite reverb, but the only vid on youtube i could find sounded like a crappy recording. heard good things about the verbzilla too, well, some good things, some people just hate line 6. any input on those two?

The nanoverb is definately capable of the infinite verb. Have you listen to the Japanese band MONO or any Godspeed! You Black Emperor? You can get those cool OTT reverb sounds with a little dirt. Just fast pick. I really like it, but I'm looking at Mellowtones latest offering, and I could come back to the nanoverb. I've got one for sale in the marketplace section. Also there is a guy who is selling TB boxes in there as well for CHEAPz. I'd get a TB box for it in the future so I can use it live or in a band situation.

I was actually suggesting the holiest grail because the question was about the INFINITE reverb stuff,it's clear that it can do that, and then some.If the question was about the reverb pedal that doesn't mess with your tone, has tons of high quality sounds and can actually improve your tone if you want it,I'd say the Dr.Scientist Reverberator price tag is worth it :thumb: .It really doesn't get any better than that,IMO.

I was using the old lexicon racks for the infinite reverb way back...my fave was alex,in my opinion it had better sound than any alesis rack or half-rack I've tried. :idk:

I had an XP400. I never got any use out of any patch other than 28, the expression pedal quit working the week I got it, and the whole unit spent years slowly dying until one day it passed the point of no return. But that infinite plate was awesome.
