2 questions for my next project(s) !!!

Post by gunslinger_burrito »

Putting this here because I want to make another guitar or two in the near future.

A: I know warmoth sells 28 5/8" baritone necks (because I have one  ) for use with 25.5" scale guitars. I'm just curious if anyone knows if the 27.5" bari necks that other companies use would match up to 24.75" scale guitars? I have no idea if you can buy one anywhere, but I want to know.

B: Cheap, interesting body types for guitars. With or without necks. I'm either making two guitars: one with P90s and one with blade humbuckers, or I'm making one guitar with....four pickups.... :erm: :joy:

I like those univox high fliers, but I dunno if I'd want to shred one up. . . . :idk:

 I'm looking through all the "japan guitars" and I think I'd feel just a tad weird ripping one up that's supposedly rare......

This! Here are some examples I've gathered of cool body shapes that can be had starting from a strat body (found them on offsetguitars if I remember correctly). I'm definitely trying to make something like the first one myself someday.
