Superego FX loop ideas

stop me if this has been discussed before but I've been thinking of getting a decent multifx unit like a digitech or line 6 for the fx loop on the superego. figured this would be the most cost effective way of getting the most out of it.
you could chain multiple fx, recall presets, loop?, eq, expression...
anyone do this yet?
or have suggestions on a good one?
I usually steer clear of these.

haven't used it myself, but that new zoom multi effect seems to be pretty boss for this kind of application

saw that and read reviews it's confusing to use. but was more thinking like this but a good one. I'm think chaining at least 3+ effects and expression control would be ideal for this.

I didnt even read the manual on the zoom cdr and breezed through it in less than an hour. Ive had a few of those digitech rp units, most recently an rp55. Pure garbage IMHO. Noisy, hissy, and subpar effects. Always got them for free from craigslist deals.

yeah digitech RP series is garbage IMO.

the zoom G3X might be what you need? You can chain up to 6 effects and it has a built in expression pedal. I haven't played one but they seem to get decent reviews.

I've been considering this as well, and the zoom cdr or the digitech expression factory seem like the best bet. Both right around $100.
