what's going on in the guitar world from 0:22 to 0:32? really interesting. and is he picking a harmonic there too? sounds like electric violin through a weird tape machine

Sounds like a modulated delay in a feedback loop.

It seemed like he was changing the delay time in some way
From the look of his leg it was a foot switch

I'm sure it's several things, or some whacky preset. He's using a big multi effect.

my bet would be modulated delay with the feedback and depth turned up and the foot pedal controlling the mix.

sounded like delay with pick scrapes/slides on the strings to me. i fucking love chris dave. was just talking about him earlier. the daddy dave trio is fucking amazing.
