Hey everybody, just wanted to know what you think about the reverb compared to other verbs. I really wish I didn't miss out on it and would still love to try one someday. How do you compare it to other stuff? how does it sounds with different gear?

It's honestly just a long brick Belton reverb with a buffered feedback circuit in it. I will say though that it seems like they built it to be pretty crude sounding compared to the 1776 Effects Rub A Dub in terms of noise and stuff, but it gives it a lofi sound. It seems like the gain is post brick instead of prebrick

Thanks skully, I am still going to try and build a 1776 for myself in the future, but I am just so damn entised by this box

I will admit its a sexy box, but you can get close with the 1776 pcb for WAY less haha. You could even use glow in the dark paint!!

Ya man, glow in the dark paint is cool! I would love to try out some black light paint, but you would need the black lights but it's still a cool idea

is their a big volume boost when it's engaged? Extremely loud?

There's a slight boost when it's engaged with the gain down. It's noticable enough if you turn it on/and off regularly. I did like how it kind of trailed out forever, but again it'd be pretty easy to replicate without all the hype money around it. Plus their standard release of it is coming out sooner than later which I heard has a volume control

thing was basically unusable in my setup. insane amounts of noise prior to dirt. post dirt there was almost no way of engaging w/o boost. verb itself, was like skully said, a belton brick. sound was ehh....great idea, terriable exicution. let's hope the production model has springs and i thought through.
all that being said, i would have been an okay pedal if it was the ONLY thing you were using

I guess that's why it was so cheap, I guess just a limited hype noise toy to get everyone crazy lol I am curious to see the production model as well. I used to have a fuzz war and a supersonic fuzzgun but never could really find them useful to me. I guess this just looked so good because I love noisy stuff

I use mine with my 5e3 Tweed and a MKI, Baby Blue and wah in Front of it. Sounds very good to me and i see no Need of bringing my Fender tube reverb in. With the 5e3 is no boost audible. With other amps there were, esp. with fuzz in front, huge volume jumps. With the gain knob on min. A master Volume would make sense. So Hold out for The "standard" production Unit...

Nice setup Uni! Ya for sure it would have been great with a volume knob, I hope the new one looks just as cool and glows in the dark!

Yeh, huge volume boost on it but then I have reverb on all the time so I adjust my rig accordingly...
Overall I think it's a fantastic pedal and my band loves it as well. It's the perfect reverb for shoegaze/psychedelic music. It makes everything sounds so big, especially when you feed the reverb with a delay pedal and some fuzz...

Ill say this; I love reverb. I cant say whether I like fuzz or verb more...theyre both equally awesome. But the sunshine did nothing for me. I agree with the volume boost and the lofi quality to it. The gain didnt do what I hoped it would do. I was hoping it would clip the signal and make really nasty reverb. Its was very disappointing. I can get better spring verb with gain on my 1993 boss se70. I didnt buy it to flip it, I wanted to love it, but im glad I did. The hype was for nothing special IMHO.
