Does anyone know where to get these from?
Footswitches normally come with white nylon washers, but stuff I'm making would definitely look better with black.... Am I just being too picky?
Hey - if you're also too picky, fancy coming in on a batch of them custom-made specially for obsessives like us?

I am picky. I just toss those white ones and replace them with metal ones that don't stick out an 1/8th inch, and have no effect on the aesthetics.
I do agree that the black ones look better though. The only person I really see utilizing the colored washers is IdiotBox. Maybe shoot him an email?

Was thinking about this again and had an idea. Ever heard of Rit Dye? You can get it liquid or powder form. It's used to dye clothes/plastic/etc and I bet it would work great on those bright white washers. Then you could make literally any color you want. I have used the powder kind a few times, but never for this exact purpose.

He used to spray paint them and used the fatty hex nuts so he could tighten without fucking up the paint.

Pickguards are usually pretty glossy and not so porous, so I imagine it'd be hard for the dye to adhere. Roughing up the surface a bit of whatever you're dyeing might help. Really just have to experiment. If I have time tomorrow I'll try it on a few things (including the washers).

This seems to be what you may want.
On a somewhat unrelated note, i hate the way American companies use ez for easy. I always read it as ee zed.
