Do any of our favorite builders make a compressor?

I can't think of any at the moment as I've been out of the game for a couple weeks but am looking around for one. Any cool things anyone is doing compressor wise or one you would like to recommend for not crazy dollars? Just something simple, something cool.

Did that Fairfield comp ever take off?

I play a dirge
I started my compressor life with an ibanez comp2
Have tried the barge/empress/Keeley/Boss/MXR

the dirge is really good for my needs
I don't know what one would cost since I think I traded something to skully

This is cool but it's the first and only compressor I've owned. Plenty of control options and easy to get the hang of after a little tinkering. I still barely use it tho, just got a wild hair up my ass to try a compressor and this came up for a trade. Gonna hang on to it tho, could be useful somewhere down the line.

also, while compressors are weird and i don't know why someone would want one, Bongomania (Ovnilab's dooder's name on TB) is a pimperish and super nice fellow that knows way too damn much about.... *shudders*.... compressors.

Got all the comps I'll ever need in my racks, but I wouldn't mind trying out that Walrus one...

I think compresses do something really unique to how you sound, I understand people not wanting that. I think the instant lofi junky has some compression going on as well as being a sort of vibrato pedal, but the change to the attack and how the note sustains is very musical and interesting
