Brand new Dr Scientist dropping soon

I know guys, it seems like it's been ages since Ryan put out anything good, but the cat's finally out of the bag. May I present, the Dr Scientist Wowee Wah. I know he's been promising a wah for ages and it's great to finally see this thing materialise. Regarding the wah circuit, it's based on an old Italian Vox that Ryan got from Bryan Adams' roadie back in the 80s (back when Bryan knew tone, before he sold out), and through years of tweaking Ryan's finally cloned the circuit to perfection. But this wouldn't be a Dr Scientist pedal without a few extra gizmos and knobs and switches. No siree. As you can see in the photo it has an additional knob and a switch. The switch is really great for all of you tone hounds - it switches between an inductor that is coloured red, and one that is coloured yellow. Despite the colour of the inductors, this pedal works great for the blues. But the real awesome feature in this pedal is the compression knob. I'm not sure exactly how Ryan did it, but he has managed to make the best Dyna Comp circuit I've ever heard - and believe me, I've played a few! Laughing out loud! At one end of the spectrum the compression is transparent, and then you can gradually tune it in getting the most transparent squishy comp sounds - all the while you are wahing away like Jimi, or any one of the other up and coming modern players like Steven Ray Vaughn (IIRC - I'm not au fait with the latest shredders). Out of respect I'm not going to post a gut shot because with all the hard work Ryan has put into tracing the old circuits I really don't want to see this thing cloned, but let me tell you, it's great. With all the carbon comps and NOS tropical fish caps in there you can really see your tone improving. BTW, props to Tanya for another awesome finish! They're calling it "Who turned the lights off in the TARDIS". I don't really get it, but it looks great! Kind of an ambient charcoal except darker.
