Poll: Pedalboard direction?

Just curious. I figure it makes more sense for some people to have stuff on one side or the other. It seems kind of 'backwards' to me to do left-to-right signal chain, the way the jacks on all my pedals work, but I see enough pedalboards going the other way to be curious. What's the deal? Left foot dominant instead of the right foot?

I'm definitely right-foot dominant, and run mine right-to-left. I wonder if there would be some kind of correlation between this and which foot you prefer forward if you skate or snowboard... since I only ski, I can't really speak to that...

Mine goes from right to left :

It starts in the Boss Tuner TU-2 and ends at the Line 6 DL-4.

Since making my looper, my pedals are really just connected groups. I hook up my looper left to right. I've always preferred the left to right arrangement, but most pedals are set up for right to left.

I have mine left to right.....because thats the way my inputs to outputs go.
I used to have to stomp with both feet due to I had no board and I sing in my band. I guess I'd prefer left foot though.

I'm regular footed on skateboard in which your left foot is forward.

Pedals with left-side inputs always screw me up, like "What is that humming noise? Why don't I have any signal from my guitar? Is this broken? Oh right, I plugged this in backwards."

And don't forget the Sola Sound/Colorsound
My fave 'normal' fuzz has backwards input/output...but I don't care about such things as long as it sounds good.
Oh yeah,I run my pedals right to left...it doesn't make any sense to do the opposite

Yeah all the old stuff, Foxx, Fuzz King etc etc had left side inputs.
Worked well with Fender, Ampeg etc amps that had the input on the left.
Then those pesky Japanese started putting the inputs on the other side.
Must be a metric thing.
Any way I now run every thing right to left, keeps the cables shorter except when I throw in an old Foxx wah.
MM.

agreed. it's such a pain in the ass getting my fuzz face clone to work with my DE stuff.

Wouldn't it be really simple to just open the pedals and switch the input and output jacks? I might be missing something here...

I usually fuck stuff up when I mess with technical stuff.

Or put the pedal upsidedown..
If I use my foot I usually step on the entire thing anyway
