Can you please help me to understand that booster output thing? I know that it should be used with another power amp, but would it work OK, if I plug it straight to Soundcity PA50?
Thanks

I have a booster out on my Peavey too and never quite figured out what I'm supposed to do with it.

The booster jack provides an output signal for driving additional booster power amplifiers. THIS IS NO A SPEAKER OUTPUT. This output is a low lever signal of approximately one volt. Any booster amplifier can be used as long its input will accept a one volt RMS signal and has input of impedance of at least 10000 ohms.

I've scared myself plugging a guitar into the booster output before...

So it takes the power amp and runs it into... another power amp?
What?

And is there a possibility of somehow overloading Soundcity? The only thing I want to know is, if it is safe.

It's a pre amp out that you run to another power amp.

It's safe if you plug it into a line in input on the sounds city.

Ha! This was my first amp! still got it in storage somewhere...
It's just to run the pre-amp out to another power amp.
http://www.peavey.com/media/pdf/manuals/standard.pdf (I love how nerdy the descriptions of everything is in this manual! look at reverb, "
Capable of delivering better than 10volts rms to the reverb delay line!." They're so proud of their mad spex!)

That one of the things I have always loved about Peavey. Chip Todd is a big ol nerd and its awesome. He still answers ?'s about the T series.

what other ill shit can be done (under the auspices of Christ)?
