It's taken me a long time to find someone who could explain to me exactly what a transistor does. Thought there must be others in the same boat so here's the video.

I only watched half of it but he oversimplifies some of it to the point that his statements are not %100 accurate. all diodes pass current in both directions. they do not have only two resistances. they have a curve.
