My hunt for a better amp has brought me across an SLM Era USA Made Crate Vintage Club 20Watt for around $200.

I could move some things around and come up with enough to make an offer on it. I don't consider it to be my dream amp but my feeling is that it would be an improvement in tone over the setup I'm currently rolling with. And it's $200.

Any love or hate for these here amps?

Apparently Apathy is all there is for these amps.

I passed on it.

Too bad, I had one of the bigger Vintage Club amps(1-12 50 watts I think) and it was a pretty decent amp. It is pretty good but not great. It was pretty tough too.
