Very nice. What kind of wood is the neck and fingerboard made of?

Crazy. So, is it a little neck heavy or does it balance well?
I was gonna guess rosewood, but it looked a little too light colored in the photo. I thought it might be something a bit more uncommon. Is it actually that light looking or is that a trick of the camera? How is it finished?

the whole guitar is a little darker than the photos. i hate iphone cameras sigh, sorry! the neck isnt any heavier than my other start necks, but i had Steve use the neck dimensions off my favorite guitar to make this neck so its about as heavy as im used to! took about 6 weeks after setting it up and going over specs to get a fabulos guitar! i recommend Benford guitars! couldnt be any happier!!!!

Nice, those snaps look even better. (That's probably a little more true to color.)

I think that the swoopy pick guard makes me like the swoopy headstock (because usually I hate reverse looking ones). Looks real nice. congrats!

The neck is has no finish. The rosewood feels so freaking smooth!

. Thankyou! I love the pick guard too! Reminds me of how Jeff beck cut his pick guards in the 70s. It's the pick guard shape Steve uses on the S series.

wow, the look of the neck makes me want to set it up with very heavy strings in C standard or something for some gritty and dirty music

Looks great, love the neck especially! Why is there no plate over the trem springs?

It's kinda tgpish but some of the strat legends I love do this to their own strats and stated the reason was for a more natural resonance, it's kinda like having a sound hole pointed towards you. I started doing it for easy trem access cause I float mine and i noticed it dose make it louder not plugged in, but the sound over an amp is minimal and hard to detect. Just something I like to do to get closer to the "toan" in my head! So I asked steve to skip the back plate and not even make screw holes, I don't ever keep them on anyways.

Fair enough, I can't see it making a difference but who am I to judge? (and maybe it does)
