I'm booking a month long tour right now with my band and our friend's band - and I really want to try getting some college shows, but I don't have any connections to colleges or a booking agent. If you stop in Clemson, SC, I know the college radio station, WSBF, puts on shows sometimes and does live sessions on the radio with musicians. I was a DJ there a couple years ago, so I kind of know who you would need to contact. Also, a local coffee shop, Moe Joe's, has musicians perform. Clemson is a small town, though, and I don't know if it would be worth your while to stop there. Maybe you could hit it on the way to Atlanta if you wanted to.

The University of South Carolina in Columbia, and The College of Charleston in Charleston, are the schools you would want to perform at in those cities. Actually there are probably a few other, smaller colleges in Columbia - I don't know much about that city.

^That.
Alternatively, the Monkey House in Winooski's pretty hip for being in Winooski.

I sadly don't have that kind of info any more (eighteen or so years ago, I was booking for a college on that route... sadly I don't think any of my peeps are there anymore), but I could see about who to talk to in the Northampton area in general.

yeah, we need some northampton connections. never played there before but always though i would like to.

burlington is too far north for this tour, but we plan on doing a more northern route in the future where it will be on the list.

i think the spotty dog is a possibility for one of the upstate shows, we're playing in tivoli and albany, so i think that's going to cover that crowd... but maybe on the way back. ryan summit do you know of anywhere in hudson that is doing house shows? or venues on the right side of DIY?

For your Philly stop you can try Olde Club at Swarthmore College: http://blogs.sccs.swarthmore.edu/oldeclub/about/ I graduated too long ago to know anybody there unfortunately.
