hey im fixin the treble knob
on an old sears bass amp
the knob lug broke off at some point
ive never done this before
and im glad i didnt try it on one of my amps
so i figured the values would be on the back of it
and after diggin it out from behind the tranformer
its nothin i could understand
can you guys tell me what to replace this with

Get a multimeter and measure it. What model is the amp? I've had a few of those old Sears ones.

The 305 could mean it's a 3 meg pot, since some pots get marked like capacitors. Edit: Could the E be an F or B? I can't actually make out any of the markings in the pic. Dunno what E would be, but F was used for reverse audio taper and B for linear.

I'd recommend a cheap multimeter anyway, they're super handy to have around for guitar/amp/pedal stuff.

for the speaker, look for a 6 digit code stamped somewhere. then googler 'speaker code identification' or something, there's a list of manufacturers and how to decode the numbers.
