How do you EQ your bass amp?

I noticed a few days ago that I had my amp EQ with almost all the knobs boosted and thought, "well what is that really doing?"
I've been experimenting with different settings and finding different sounds, but I'm curious how y'all do it.
How do you set your EQ?
What kind of sound do you get with it?
How does it interact with your dirt?
Do you EQ different basses / pickup configuration differently?

Bass 5, mids dimed, highs 2
The sound is midy
I don't get many piercing highs so that nice.
I jus have one bass and I flip lots of switches and turn a few knobs to change my tone.

on my 370's I keep the eq knobs about noon, bright switch engaged, and my graphic section looks like this:

on my yba1a, all eq knobs at noon.
Donovan and Dixie dave dime everything on their sunn's because they're so much alike.

On my Peavey Bass 400, lows - 3/4 o clock
mids - all the way, son
highs - 1/2 o clock
It has enough low-end that turning it way up isn't really "needed" most of the time.

Ya don't say?
Also, yes, 10s on everything on my Sunn. Everything at noon on my Acoustic 450. Everything cranked on my TS-50B. EQ at +5 for treble and bass on my PA-135.

I play bass on an 80s 60w fender sidekick amp that I like considerably more than the rumble I used to have.
Treble almost all the way up
Mids at noon
Bass at noon
Always with fuzz unless im feelin funky on a short scale bass.

I don't really know what I set it at, but I do know that if its "scooped" my time has come.

I misspoke. Dixie dimes everything but treble at zero. other than that, I cant tell the difference between him and don, as people.

Bass 12, treble 12 and mids 2 or 3 most of the time.

I like having the bass and mids up with the treble rolled back for a big, cutting low end. Or if I'm get gnarly and nasty ill roll down the bass and crank the mids and treble for nastiness. If I'm playing alone, I'll scoop the mids and get that huge sexy bass tone, but in a live setting it would be inaudible.

However I do it; in a band setting, Mids always higher than the bass and treble.
I like a modern-ish aggressive tone and I find that consistently fresh strings contribute to that.
