Timmy Overdrive Simplified

Heyya! So I'm making a pedal that has a timmy circuit in it ( http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-X-FXRN3YBpk/T ... +Timmy.png )
, and I want to simplify the circuit by removing the dpdt switch for clipping. (I never use the clipping options in the timmy I have.). If I want to get rid of the clipping, do I just solder the two black and white dots where the switch normally goes together? Thanks :)

No just assemble the vero board as shown and ignore the switch.

Do you know if the layout is verified before you start? I'd double check it if it isn't otherwise you could end up debugging for an eternity!

It works! :D Sounds great too! It's a timmy overdrive + JHS mini bomb. I only have one question: I used a 4pdt toggle switch to do order switching on the dual pedal, so I can have the boost before or after.... The only problem is.... I can't tell when it's before or after :picard: haha. I can tell a sound difference but it's hard to say. The toggle moves perpendicular to the switching so no help there. I do notice while both are on, in one setting, I have the pedal A LOT louder. Does this mean that the boost is after the OD? I honestly can't tell haha. All I know is that one setting with both on is louder than the other. Any Boost/OD experts can help me? :)

When I've done 2in1 pedals I've noticed that the volume in the previous pedal acts like a gain control and the volmue in the pedal after acts like a volume. When the order is switched the properties will change.

The timmy has a gain control and a volume.... I still can't really tell :idk:

You could always trace the wires an look at where the switch is connecting to tell.

I figured out the toggle problem but I get a weird sort of hissing/ scratchy bleed through on it when chords or notes ring out. Now, I did put both a bomb boost and a timmy into a 1590b, so is it possible that the small enclosure is allowing for too much inductance? Help :(
I have another timmy with a boost in a BB and the problem is a lot less noticeable. do I have a bad cap possibly? or what's wrong? Thanks
