fanned frets are intended to give the bass strings a longer scale length, and thus more string tension, than regular frets. this tightens up the bottom end (TWSS). it's much more common to see fanned frets on a bass or a seven- or eight-stringed guitar because the lower pitches benefit most from added string tension, keeping the low bass string from going all flooby when down-tuned.

I suppose the 'how does it feel' questions are sort of like how does sex feel? But that's what I am asking sort of. Is it sloppy and slippery or tight and needs a work out?
...or something...
