M B V or the beginning of a new 20 year long quest

Greetings!
My Bloody Valentine released their new album on February. I remember obsessively gathering information about gear used on Loveless, but in the end I realize it was just time wasted.
I could not find threads or information about fuzzes used on "m b v", though I know the guitar guy used some boutique fuzzes. Now I see it is time to waste more time on useless information
Ps. why is there no separate subforums for fuzz and other effects, synths, stuff
I really hated this velcro fuzz when I first listened to it but now I gotta have it. Please
I could not hear reverse reverb

these are pre m b v release but are from the era parts of it were, presumably, tracked.
http://everydayguitargear.wordpress.com ... n-shields/i know it's been said before but it bears repeating, the essence of the kevin shield's sound, is alternate turnings, gain stacking, filtering, and not believing the hype.

Unrelated to velcro fuzz, but related to Kevin Shields' sound : Gotta put a plug in for the Basic Audio Warp Sound. Thing kills.

Right? I've mentioned it to John actually. Having the filter sweep on the treadle would be sick.

well duder, that comes from stacking gain stages and could be replicated with a drive with a voltage sag. there's a very popular one here on ilf...

I see! I do love connecting fuzzboxes one into another into another (if that is what you mean by stacking gain stages) but I can't get velcro enough (I have tried like all the combinations between FY2, FY6, big muff, proco rat, stuff). I'd be interested in what to stack? What is that very popular one called by
