It seems like Gibson is moving in the direction that the instruments will start playing themselves with the next model that comes out.

Glad it seems all the comments on that page are basically calling Gibson the Apple of Guitars.
They made... A Strat... and if you can't tune with a tuner, unless you have some unheard of medical tuning issue (god damn my tunespazilitus!) you shouldn't spend or be allowed to spend more than $500 on a guitar and that's generous.

Effects, pedals, AC adapters, batteries, direct boxes, amps, tuners, patch cords—they're a major hassle

This thing totally uses batteries and requires a fucking breakout box with all kinds of hassle.
