I don't know. I'd taken a break from pathologically hunting pedals on ebay for a while, and when I just had a look there were lots.

DIY effects are like the new hip thing to do man. It's been blowing up the past few years. So, yea, there's a ton of clones around.

It makes sense. For the cost of one new pedal, you can get yourself a basic setup and start making your own. Especially when it comes to simple stuff like Fuzz Factories, Wolf Computers etc. Spending shop prices on those things is nuts once you know what they really are. And you can learn so much about circuits and sound. Sometimes the clones auction for very little too, so you can get a really cheap base to work on and customise.

it has been happening for a while. they do sell if they are priced correctly. $75 will get you any muff you want in any color. I have sold some clones but when I build clones I actually make them better. I have no clue if they sell because of that extra cherry on top or maybe they just sell cause I spam keywords?
