Midi over USB foot controller

I'm looking for a foot controller that can send midi msgs to my eventide pedals. I'm thinking controller into a USB hub out to 4 factor pedals. Any ideas?

I recently got the Behringer FCB1010 for just that purpose. No need for a USB connection, you just have to program the pedals and the controller, and connect everything with midi cables. I have all the factor pedals set up to pass the controller's midi signal through from one to the next. There is a second expression pedal on it that I haven't assigned a function to yet, but I'm thinking I'll probably just change the expression receiving channel on the Modfactor and use it as an isolated wah that doesn't affect the other pedals.

I should have been clearer. I'm avoiding the midi cables to save space. Plugging all 4 into midi has got to take up quite a bit of space and if I can do this over USB I will.

It's going to be messy no matter what you do. I'm going to be switching to angled midi cables, that's about all I can do to save any more space.
It would definitely be nice to have all the cables going into the back of the pedals, I just don't think there's any way to make it happen, and even if there is, you'll have to use a computer to do it.
USB midi controllers tend to be made for use with software only. Also, a USB hub won't copy one data stream to 4 separate outputs.
A four-way passive signal splitter with the Ernie Ball 25k is probably the only way you'll be able to control all 4 without using the midi jacks.

Well the KMI softstep does send midi via USB and there are USB hubs that will daisy chain. I'm not looking for just exp I'm hoping to have scenes set up that change effects ect. The more I look into this the more possible it seems I just can't find anyone that has done it.

I've been all the way down that road, and it still ends in behringer country. The softstep was the last thing I tried before getting the behringer. I didn't like it for switching or expression. It also requires that you use the midi expander, which connects to the midi in of the eventides.
It was a bit of a letdown because I really wanted to like it and it is a really cool looking piece of gear. I couldn't get either of my expression pedals to calibrate properly with it, and the sensitivity of the switch pads was always either too much or too little. The software also took way too long to load in windows. YMMV,

The Disaster Area stuff is really good with Stymon/Eventide stuff via regular MIDI, and Matt is good about custom stuff and I bet there's a good chance he could work something up for MIDI via USB control. It wouldn't hurt to ask anyway.

usb midi is kinda tricky.

w/o a computer is gunna require some type of usb host to act as the master.

possibly the iconnectmidi or kenton usb midi host.
