Need some suggestions for a slow and creepy modulation effects to put around the end of the chain.
Most phaser I tried doesn't do it for me... maybe too deep or tone sucking.

Phaser I tried: INFANEM Faye Sing and Blackout Effectors Whetstone
Flanger I tried: SubDecay Starlight Deluxe

I have the Dr. Sci Cosmichorus v3 which is awesome, but it's not design for that sound.

Flanger, phaser... which one... other suggestions?

I have a bigger mxr flanger. I love it. I use it at the beginning on my chain but Im sure you could get some funky stuff at the end too. It goes way slooooow too. Prolly not as much as the subdecay but whatevs. With the regen down, it can get real subtle which could be useful after gain. cheap too
Or maybe some sort of half trem/half mod effect. Like the eqd MEC mentioned or that catalinbread parathing. I think trems make things pretty spooky.

Pareidolia is pretty good for this, i think. i mean a slow chorus would kinda be too subtle, for my taste any how.

but Pareidolia is a tremolo effect. i mean something like a phaser or a flanger.
the bezfx street Sweeper was good for that... but I'm not looking for something manual.

Tremolo's modulate the amplitude. The paredolia splits the signal and modulates the high frequency while modulating the low frequencies in the opposite direction. So, the effect does not cause amplitude modulation, your volume doesn't change. The effect is closer to a phaser or a flanger. I call it a phaser for people who don't like phasers. On the slower settings with the depth up, and maybe a little fuzz, its got the creep-ness.

The mobius has this sounds as well as the flint, creme de la trem, pipeline


I also think the midi murf would be really cool for this too. it has that subtle frequency shifting like a phaser, underneath the filter patterns. I feel like, the murf, used a bit more subtle, would get some nice shit.

Basically, what I am saying is filters. modulated filters.

for that kind of sweeps i use my subdecay prometheus! creepy, slow, deep, even better on bass... and you also have the envelope down and the step filter... lot's of modulation!
and now i never use my grand orbiter phase machine...

After looking at some demo... I'm sure I don't want a phaser... but I like that lazery type of sound (phaser suck too much lows and mids).

Lazery and slow, thats what I'm looking for.

Tremulust look very interesting... I really like JuJo's demo... but I already have 2 trem (Randy's Revenge and my amp tube trem).

use the randy's revenge as a ring mod only and then you will need another trem....
