My first SG/Gibson,i've owned Epiphone les pauls and played friends Gibson's. Today I got mine... I already put strap locks on and soon locking "vintage" style tuners which should be a drop in. I'm so use to 25.5 scale and strat style guitars. So this is like relearning the guitar. The pick ups aren't as bad as I hear, haven't played loud yet but everything sounds good to me. This is worn brown, don't know it came out more cherry.

Congrats! I have a cherry one with a rosewood board... it was the first "real" guitar I had after moving on from my starter pack squier strat.

SG's are so comfortable to play (at least for me personally) and light enough to move around easily. Can't wait to reacquire an SG in the form of a junior or something. Congrats on the new axe!

Nice looking guitar man. Any idea which pickups those are? 498 / 490?

There are few things more pretty than a brown SG, IMHO
