How would you fix a picture to a guitar?

Whether it be, like, a magazine picture, something printed from the internet, etc. ... how would you do it? Just ploppin that shit right over everything. Some kind of clear glue to protect the image and make it adhere? nam sayin?

I'm big into pictures with personal relevance on my guitars. I usually just attach them with regular elmer's glue. If you decide to remove it, it's real easy to get rid of the dried residue without harming your finish (unless it's nitro perhaps).

You could have the picture laminated and then attach it with the double stick material that is used to attach acoustic pickguards.

I have stuff sellotaped on. Wheatpaste would probably be way better though, it goes all green and discoloured from my sweat eventually.

I'd probably limit myself to a spot on the pickguard.
Either using Elmer's glue and/or clear packing tape, depending on whether or not I want to salvage the picture if/when it comes time for removal.
