Totally random: snaking out an old laundry chute

this house in the 20s has one of those old style laundry chutes on the 2nd floor bathroom. chute goes to the basement
fucker is clogged even though i was super careful about not putting bath towels and shit in teh chute
the little door to the top of the chute is damn tiny too so i cant put my whole shoulder/arm in the thing and put a broomstick in there or something. the imaginary broomstick wouldnt even fit in the little door for the chute because it's a solid straight object, the door is tiny, and it wouldnt angle in there

so i need something long as shit that can expand in length that is angled at the top

i know this is totally random and i should proabbly just go to home depot, but this type of shit is my anti-forte
maybe you guys know of a tool that could accomplish this task
i was letting a "little person" stay in the spare room for a while and i should have taken him by the ankles and eased him down into the chute

depression era first world problems

i already tried a mic stand and that was a no go

im afraid if i tried dropping in a cement block or a brick of some kind it would just sit in there on top of the god knows how large mass of clothing

my fam had a laundry chute in its house where i grew up. always sucked getting things stuck in there. be forewarned you might tear clothes if they're snagged...

use a garden hose. they flex and might be stiff enough to wiggle around stuff.

Small diameter plumbing or electrical wire tubing. Borrow it from a neighbor that does construction.
