Here's this...

Me and a drummer making a noise.
Thought I should include the bits where the Minor Concussion needed a bit of adjustment, and when the drummer did some bass drum fills!!!

So awesome. I think with some heavy guitar sounds this thing would shine some more, although, it's currently beast. I wonder what would happen if Deantoni Parks got ahold of this or Zach Hill or Brian Chippendale

The syncopated stuff sounds very cool, like a syncopated fade in (sawtooth wave) tremolo or something. :)
I don't really get it though, probably because I'm stupid, sometimes the effect seems to go faster and sometimes slower, is there a knob or button that sets the speed or does that happen purely through interaction with the bassdrum?
When the drummer plays the bassdrum fills it does sound a bit messy to my ears, I don't know, I guess it might need a slower speed (less triggered notes) or a faster release setting there or something.

Yeah - if you adjust the 'release' speed you can get it to seem later or earlier. It's only triggered by the bass drum in this situation here.
The bass drum fills are quite... interesting! Maybe need a serious chat with the drummer, or switch it off at that moment - or maybe I should shut up in a 8th-bar-hip-hop way

Who are those guys????

:idk: :picard:

I always think...
1) take electro-inspired sounds

2) make them work for guitar

3) get them to rock players

4) blow people's minds!!!!!! :animal:

That's the business plan!

Next, gonna do a 'playing along to D-Train in my living room' kind of clip - to show the amazing tap tempo in action....

I guess it's because he's speeding up the bassdrum pattern and plays doubles there which makes the fade tremolo thing fall in weird places.
Without criticising, I think the setup with a heel switch like on the Compactotron would really help in those kind of situations, I don't know whether it's on there as well.
+ a million on the electro inspired sounds transposed to guitar in a rock setting blowing people's mind man! :D :thumb:

Hmmm, maybe a heel switch option would be good... I often thought lots of people couldn't get their heads round the heel switch. And then someone said it was like squeezing a blood-pressure machine thing.... (Bastard!)
Worked good though, but you couldn't use it while running along the front of the stage high-fiving the audience....

Ah, right - drummers! Deantoni gets my vote.
I wonder if a drummer would like to have a Minor Concussion pedal - and then would be up for persuading his guitarist to play through it??
I think this pedal kills in the right situation.
I keep it on all the time - turned to quite a subtle effect (until full sidechain pump is needed).

It's also great if your rhythm section happens to be a DJ....

Sounds really cool! I really love the subtle parts, but the full on dancy rhythm stuff is also super interesting paired with guitar rather than synth.

Exactly! With a big cranked up stack it'd be great cos the distortion builds towards the end of the beat.... Starts off quite clean. :joy: :omg: :!!!:
