Ok folks, I need that ILf knowledge

I play always fuzzy, and sometimes washed out Shoegaze, I'm waiting on an Algal Bloom arriving from BST and I'm gonna mix the board up a bit. Here's my setup right now

Jag/Mustang--Fuck--Fuzz Factory--Musket--Pharaoh--Small Stone--Timeline--Flint--JC120

So, Pharaoh last in the fuzzy chain is a winner, but I want something after verb, what should go there? Algal? I dunno, I'm open to changing it all around if you have suggestions

i would try just switching the strymons.

algal after verb is so so so tasty. fuzz factory would not work well there
muffs often seem to work well there too!

Algal Bloom after verb is super nice, it's my favourite fuzz to do that with!

Not sure why you've got the Fuck before all of your fuzz (and the Fuzz Factory in particular, doesn't it nullify alot of function of the stab knob by not having it first in line?). One of my favorite things about the Fuck is how well it sounds with fuzz going into it. Sounds like a decent plan to put the Algal Bloom last, after verb. If you want a fuzz after verb, it seems like the AB would work well there.

I really really dig Fuck after reverb and delay too. Lots of good static, electrical, crackly noises.

Amp has Reverb so I would go: Jag/Mustang > Flint > Fuck > Algal > Pharaoh > Small Stone > Timeline > JC120... Dat's Gaze...

try running the phaser after the delay; it's more atmospheric.

Thanks for all the suggestions folk, I knew I could rely on you Gonna try as much of these as possible and see what happens. I'd heard the AB was awesome after reverb, so it's good to hear that confirmed. That shall be my first experiment

If you want to 'gaze, it's fuzz after verb. Maybe get the phase and delay in the middle of the chain, too.

Yeah, I've always had fuzz after reverb previously, but the last few months I went all fuzz behind verb. Definitely trying AB after reverb.

I Would try the Fuck after the reverb and hitting the momentary switch and seeing how it fucks with the reverb.
