... When you try to copy an iconic shape and shave a lil here and widen a lil there it always comes of like skank shit...

That's pretty disappointing. I dig what Lakland does usually, but after the Squier VI unveiling this is just a flop.

I would have expected a more.... usefull instrument from them.
The only good thing is the pickups.
cons:
Too few frets.
lame shape.
5way switch.
No trem
Tort
Price.
No new ideas
Made for cattle minded people

I dig the body shape but everything else is bad.
Tort on red is awful IMO.
5 way switch on the UPPER bout is all wrong.
That bridge... just no.
The neck looks bad. No binding, plain dot inlays, and it looks like heel access for the truss rod.
At least they have a matching headstock?
