Yeah, I saw the Squier Cabronita guitar without the trem before. I think word of those was out before the Squier Bass VI.
But- not on my current wantlist. Maybe someday.

The one with the Bigsby looks pretty sexy.

Fender had already pushed come Cabronitas to the MIM Classic Player line, the sexiest being a thinline Tele. But having a cheaper-still option for an alternative color instrument is pretty cool, kind of like the lipstick-tube-pickup loaded Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster.

I've got so many priorities before buying more guitars, and so many guitars sooner in line, but if I were flush, I'd definitely be looking for a pre-order.

worst thing is i just don't know if i'd want the bigsby one or the dual bucker one...

or the Deluxe tele... but i guess the Cabronitas can jangle a bit more due to the tron-style pickups?

also does anyone know if the pickups are different from the fender ones?

they appear from the specs to have the Fender FideliTrons. which you can easily replace with regular FilterTrons (which are cheap on eBay) or with TV Jones if you prefer their hotter, less subtle sound.

Anyone else diggin' the cab bass? Now I don't know if I want that or the bass VI.
