Bass Modulation?

So, I'm kinda in the market for some sort of modulation for my bass rig. I'm running a jazz bass into a boss hyper fuzz and very soon an elements after that into a music man 150 HD head. I'm lusting after...something. I know not what!

I play in a psyched out fuzz rock band that has somewhat gazey tendencies, and I'd like something that cn get watery nd lush, but also pairs well with heinous amounts of dirt. I've been interested in flangers mainly, but phasers could be cool too. Maybe a chorus if it wasn't totally boring and somewhat affordable.

What do you guys like?

Why is chorus totally boring??? Bass players use Flangers, why I don't know but they do...

Chorus isn't inherently boring, but there are some out there that just don't really do it for me. Most of the boss stuff, for example.

Whetstone? Cosmichorus?
I don't know how they'd react on bass...But the lo-pass switch on the Whetstone probably would give you some ridiculous room-shaking possibility!

Eh, I don't really dig the FH on bass THAT much. It has some cool sound but the endless tweaking? eugh. And a lot of the sounds are trebly and only sound good with a lot of blend so mehhhh.

Actually someone mentioned the Polytope. Just do that. That thing seems insane (I have yet to try one).
