Pretty cool, I'm glad they've decided to start competing with the byo guitars market. A couple things annoy me though, no offset bodies or JM necks. They do have some thin finish models which would make it easier to strip and paint but I would rather have a completely unfinished option. Maybe some options for pickup routing as well, or some options without pickup routing at all.

i guess they finally realized that given the success of eBay seller "Stratosphere" at parting out Fender "factory thirds," there's a market for Genuine Fender Parts, i've bought three necks from Stratosphere that i've been pleased with, but would certainly consider the Fender ones, particularly since they're selling the MIM necks for $200.

this is really going to complicate the resale market for Fender guitars, though (not that this is a bad thing)...if you've got a GFP neck and body that match current Fender specs, how is it distinguishable from a "real" Fender guitar?

Might put some importance on actually have the serial numbers and things like that.

I'm hoping the sales do well so they expand them to unrouted/unfinished/other bodies/some level of customization like we all would like.
