Thanks to phantasmagorovich for bringing this to my attention.
Seems Malekko is finally bringing the Spring Chicken out of retirement, offering it in the LTD format (added dwell pot) both direct and through PGS. I sold my original years ago and have yet to find a suitable spring replacement beyond amp verb or a Fender tank. Differences from the original SC include:
1. Price. Going for $179 now days as opposed to $150 the first time around for the standard. The gold finished LTD version was a bit higher in price, can't remember how much tho...
2. Dwell pot, a highly requested mod, comes standard as this is the LTD reissue
3. Finish is the standard pink sparkle powder coat with screen printed graphics as opposed to the old Lexan overlays and gold finished original LTD.

I've been missing my old pink, non-dwell version. Looks like I'll finally be able to replace him

Yeah all credit to zRobertez for giving me the headsup.
I had JUST finalized trade negotiations for my v1 SC (W/Dwell), not 2 days before receiving [his] outta-the-blue PM; and had already begun questioning my decision to part with it, while simultaneously dealing with ever-building anticipation for the trade, to typical kid-on-Christmas-eve levels.
It was like receiving another, surprise gift from a secret Santa.
Now it looks like I'll be able to have my cake & eat it too!
I am still shocked that for once, timing was actually on my side

ILF rulz #1. Brohugs all around

So I did some research and found out the original Spring Chicken LTD started at $169 and was increased to $179 shortly thereafter. Cool to see Malekko keeping prices consistent.
@rustywire - I got an email pretty much out of the blue from phantasmagorovich alerting me to this as well. ILF rulz indeed!

Fuck yes. Almost one of these on eBay a while ago, but couldn't really justify it. I reckon pretty soon I WILL be able to justify it.

Yeah, I'd say this would be one of the more easier pedals to justify. Since it's so... uhh sought after? Yet not as expensive
as KLONAnd its a fucking MALEKKO that I would think sounds super de duper

Did you guys see the reissue of the malekko dark analog delay? It seems like malekko is finally realizing it's not hard to reissue these things

That def looks cool but it's no E600D reissue, just a dark voiced Ekko 616. I'm really interested to see how it compares to the E600 tho, would rule if it got close with the addition of modulation.

I honestly think they just keep putting it off because when they initially put it off it was still kind of fresh, but now since everyone has a delay that does similar things, they've just been trying to figure out 'that next step' for the 919 that would now set it apart from everything else. Of course this is complete speculation
