i've seen grails five times and they are always incredible live. can be a bit intense with drugs but that should be expected if you're familiar with their music. also got to smoke doobies in the redwoods with these dudes years back after one of their shows. super nice people.

definitely hitting up the ATL show.

ANYONE who has the opportunity to go to any of the remaining shows, do it.

We saw them in Boston on Monday, and while amazing in their own right, the albums do not fully prepare you for a live performance. I have been a fan for years...but seeing the tones, dynamics, and musicianship in person was truly staggering. Very down-to-earth and normal dudes on top of it.

They also got ripped off in Atlanta last week, some gear, laptops and a bunch of cash...so don't be afraid to buy some merch!
We were treated to a Lilacs & Champagne set performed live by mostly Grails members, in part due to the stolen laptops, which had some great interpretations of those tunes. Wrekmeister Harmonies is also super cool stuff for anyone into drony/doomy atmosphere.

After a summer punctuated by letdowns at highly-anticipated shows, it was fantastic to get such a powerful reminder of why we all do this in the first place.

Bummer. I know Monday nights are rough--they brought it even though there was probably a total of 30 people there

i saw them in atl and they were incredible as usual.

that's pretty crazy that they had some of their gear stolen in ATL as we all hung out that night after the show. WTF??
